Strange Skinning Glitch

I am having a strange visual artifact appearing from a unit whose faction colors I changed. All I did was change the RGB values to make certain parts of the skin red. When members of the unit die, the graphic from their skirt extends in a bar across the battle map.

It is only happening with this one unit I have recoloured. Does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?

Well, I would normally say it's a lose vert problem with the model that causes that, but if you've only skinned it that shouldn't happen..

The model is the vanilla greek militia hoplite. I will try deleting the .cas files and recopying them.

Looks like the problem was something I was doing in 3ds Max. I was not starting a new scene every time I loaded a .cas file, but rather just exporting the one I had been working on, then importing the next, and so on. I think it was adding each model to the previous one, and that caused the glitch. It is fixed now.
