Default A request to CA / SEGA

Hi, Just a small, I hope request to the powers that be at CA/SEGA. Now that you are developing a brand new games engine for your new title Empires. I would like it if you made a gesture to the many RTW fans, and released a small patch allowing some of the hardcoded features to be accessed, ie we could get things like the blood mod working, this was I believe originally intended to be part of RTW but was abandoned. I am making this plea as the RTW engine is now fairly dated and this could give it a new lease of life. Many of us I think would renew our purchase of the disks as they wear out, given this extra bonus. regards magpie.

Or you could post this in the official CA forums. Maybe that would help.

Thanks for your suggestion I will look into it. and thanks to the other members for their posts. I do think this is an important issue and would buy a lot of goodwill from CA/SEGA fans and customers, and hopefully boost their sales. regards magpie.

Patches can change hardcoding, but only to a certain extent.......

Might as well ask to buy the engine. I'd like the model limit to be up'ed but other than that, there is not much worth doing. Unless we get into the GM issue, that'd be a nice change.

Whee! Let's rewrite the engine and beat Empires!

We could write in 3d sea battles, massive campaign maps... a whole world campaign with all the faction and unit slots we need... *drools*

I still prefer RTW over M2TW.

I dont know why, but things look pretier within RTW engine then with M2... clearer units.... somewhat my units in M2 all look the same from far distances, lol, maybe thats because the dark enviroment of the game.

Anyway, i support the further update of RTW and BI,those games are a blast.
