TLR with Kingdoms features?
Guys, I'm looking into the possibility of getting our beloved mod to work with the best features from the new Kingdoms expansion pack. I believe it can be done I'm just not entirely sure how? I've been playing with a download that is called "Retrofit". This basically allows you to play the vanilla MTWII campaign with the features of Kingdoms. So you get the boiling oil, and the lovely stuff that the 1.4 patch brings, with the fuller flavour of the longer campaign.
I've not had an awful lot of success so far - I can get the campaign screen up and you can choose your faction and then it CTD's - but the point is, if you get this to work backwardly, then we can get TLR to work with it too.
I tried copying the files over into the Retrofit folder and it only works so far, I'm no designer/programmer so I've no real idea what needs to go where.
IS it worth looking into further? I'm sure some of you guys here have a better idea than me.

Re: TLR with Kingdoms features?
ok,
There are many cover files to match up before you can successfully make the transfer. Remember
text folder
models folder(all)
and related text files in data
also imperial campaign folder
I, too, would love to see forts and boiling oil also sapping, but its still a money game

Re: TLR with Kingdoms features?
I've tried copying all the files/folders over and merging them where necessary and it doesn't want to know. I can't even get it to the start screen now. I even downloaded Stainless Steel 5 which is specifically for Kingdoms to see how they did it, and I've tried the same with no joy. I'm sure it's something silly that I'm missing! I'll keep plodding on. There's no reason why it wouldn't work.
