Mod For more involved allies

I have an idea but I am unable on how to accomplish it. One of the things I have always disliked about the Total War series is the lack of allied involvment. I was just wondering if it is possible to add another action to diplomacy which allows the players factions to "donate troops" to another factions war effort and if possible even be able to command these troops under there new faction when they go to battle. I just think this would help invlove your friendly neighbors more an make alliances stronger and make the game more interactive. So is this even possable? If not how else is it possible to get more allied battles where 2,3 or even 4 difference factions are on the same battle field fighting along side their allies
