As Pontus in RTR I was able to field 2 full stck armies and sending one into Armenia I destroyed the the Armenian armies which were nearly 2 full stacks. The battle was so significant that Armenia was left with only the garrison troops and a few wandering small stacks leading to my full conquest of the 3 Armenia cities. All that from one major battle. Like Tigranocerta in 69.
But later I gave up on my Pontus campaign because even after detroying 6 full stack armies of the Macedonians they kept sending more across the straits and I'm just tired of how these battles are having no effect.
How will the balancing be in Hegemonia? If a full stack Athenian army destroys a Thebian army will that be significant? Also will it be possible to field full stack armies from owning a single city? If so then will the cities be so wealthy that, lets say Athens conquers a few neighboring cities and then become a super rich superpower. I've been looking around on the forums for an explanation or a faq that describes the economics regarding the units and the potential wealth of the single-city states but have nor found any such summarization. Maybe I missed that thread; can you guys help me out?
