Default The Tudors on the BBC

Well, the synopsis of the first episode was extremely confusing, and I've started on episode 2. Seems its Henry VIII and Valle D'aur. Anyone else watch/watching?

A friend of mine told me to watch it because "Henry's butt is cute." :/ I gave it a go because she said that it was historic and tried to convince me for some time to see that we could share the same interest in tv shows. It's a soap opera at night is all and not my cup of tea.

I've watched the first season as well and it's the same as HBO's Rome, with the vile truth about everyone and the "stripping off" of the characters so that you can see them in their most primal and basic light.

I have to say, I enjoyed it so I'd have to disagree with her imperial majesty in this regard.

I watched the whole first season of the Tudors on showtime as well. If Rome was a 5 star series than the Tudors is a 4 star series, it IS a bit confusing in the first episode (and the second, after that you should start to kinda grasp the dynamics) but stick with it, its worth it.

Cardinal Wolsey does an amazing acting job. Its worth it so keep watching.

Good so far although I've only seen the first two episodes. The only annoying thing for me is that each episode gets though very little (of Henry VIII reign).

Isn't Nihil's wife meant to be a nude extra in this? I think he mentioned it while they were in post-production.
