    Default descr_banners_new.xml

    Hi!

I de-installed every mod I had, and now I am no longer able to modify my banners in game, because I can't unpack the damn files (with the unpacker).

Can anyone send me the vanilla descr_banners_new.xml and those of kingdoms? I want to make my banners smaller and not jumping.

BTW: Anyone else having problems unpacking the files?

Why can't you unpack the files?

When I run the unpacker, there is following message:

"Die Anwendung konnte nicht gestartet werden, weil MSVCP71.dll nicht gefunden wurde. Neuinstallation der Anwendung könnte das Problem beheben."

Translation (my own, so probably a lot of errors in it:
"The task can not be started, because MSVCP71.dll has not been found. Re-installation of the task could solve this problem."

There may be a copyright problem with your request.

You should be able to solve your problem on your own if you're prepared to reinstall the entire Windows OS (including, as a safety measure, perhaps reformatting the HD), so that you get rid of files (folders) that may have become corrupted and create a fresh, ship-shape environment, including registry, for any program you want to work with. If the installations of those mods all are of a fairly recent date, a quicker and simpler way to solve your problem may be to restore your system to the state it was before you installed them (i.e. use System Restore).

Nevermind, I have Stainless Steel 5.0 now, and it has an unpacked descr_banners_new.xml, which I can modify. As I'll only play with Solid Steel anyway, I don't need the vanilla one any longer.

Can a moderator close this thread please?
