Captured City Crash

I am playing version 6.0 as the Romans and am getting a CTD when selecting whether to occupy, enslave or destroy the city. It started in one city and now it has occured in another one as well. I tried turning on Watch AI movements, I tried fighting the battle and saving it before making the selection but if I open that saved game it automatically crashes to windows. Any thoughts?

why dont u play 6.4? its much more improved.

There isn't such a version as 6.4.

There are two versions of RTR. RTR 6 Gold is the final version of the game which uses the RTW 1.2 executable. This version has been ported to use RTW 1.5 or RTW BI 1.6 and is known as RTR PE (Platinum Edition)(the current version is 1.9).

The RTW 6 series was released as versions 6.0, 6.1, 6,2, 6.3 and then 6.3 with hotfix. The last version is RTR 6 Gold.

If you have RTW 1.2 I'd suggest downloading RTR 6 Gold or if you have a later version of RTW than I'd suggest installing RTR PE 1.9.
