What patch are you playing? I've been sieged in 1.2 and 1.5. By the way, you've got a civil war on your hands practically. There are tons of rebels in your country!
Asking for rep is a sure fire way to not receive any, at least from this old cynic.

I've also been sieged by rebels. It's irritating cause they often attack where you don't expect it. But they usually consist of some low troops. At least most of the time.

I was sieged at Rome by rebels, they were the Gladiator Uprising.
I always wondered if it was a somehow scripted event (the only time rebels have sieged me) but its never happened again, so I dunno.

THe rebels aren't that big of a nuisance. RIght now I'm at war with all of Rome and I have about 2.5 stack worth of troops standing at one city.
I managed to destroy a good deal, but I fear that the Brutii will concentrate on me alone. Besides that I also am at war with Gaul, Thrace and the Greeks.
