    Default A question

I want to increase the armies and charachters travel speed on the campaign map. I want it to be as fast as it's in GrandViz's AI mod.
I have been with this question for months now. Also with other mods. So CAN ANYBODY enlighten me?

    Hello Janissary,

I don't know the percentage arranged in Ultimate AI mod since I haven't played it but for the answer of your question:

    1- Go to the directory:

    Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\data

    2- Find the file named:

    descr_character_txt

3- Open and enter it with notepad or wordpad

4- Find and change this line at the various places of the page:

    starting_action_points

If you increase the number the specific agents movement points on the map will be increased, for the armies you need to increase the starting action points of :

    -Named Character
    -General

5- Save and exit the file.

If you want to play with your changes in CAE mod just edit the CAE's descr_character.txt file, located in:

    Program Files\SEGA\Medieval II Total War\CloudsAcrossEurope\data

Euhm I don't get it. GrandViz uses the same numbers as you, but still in his mod the units move way faster on the map?!

PLUS: Generals and captains don't change! Only agents. I had this problem earlier with a other mod to. I know how to change the settings, but armies won't change. Doesn't mather how high I put them!

The movement points had not been altered in CAE.Also try the campaign_db.xml file for some extras; located in the same directory I indicated in my previous post.

Inside it there is the crusade and jihad movement modifiers as well as lots of other stuff.
