Oploc's Welsh AAR (No roleplay)

WELSH AAR

My first one ever, Questions welcome.
Sorry it's a bit image heavy.


Starting off i decided to take a swing at the first 2 settlements strait off to start up an empire of wealth.


Attacking the first settlement over the bridge, was to test welsh overall flexability.


after hurling quite a few stones at the gate, i figured a wall was an easyer taget.

Then rushing in with troops after the archers had a go; they routed easy.



Waited for me.





As you can see, starting to lay seige to the 2nd settlement.



With a few good traits i accepted him.
Turn 4 came and i noticed quite a loss in income, going negative quite a bit. So i attacked, hoping to capture another cash-cow.




ARGH! stupid catapaults out of ammo!



Safe as ever, the "battle" was lost..




My first risky attack, probly going to lose it, but i aim to wittle down his stronger troops.




Before i knew what was going on, i remembered the reinforcements! they were already attacking my General.
Rushing as many spears up the wall as i can..



I lost my general.. Moral is low, and routers are soon to become a problem.


With my remaining few troops, useing all my arrows first, trying to take down a few horsemen, i rushed the center.



Bloody routers.. probly cost me the battle..


Victory, but at a price.

Couldn't tell who was who; lucky for team flare-things.








*******.. They hired Mercs.. thought they were scary before.. Going to hold ground, and pray.


Sent a spy up here to check, saw this was close and barely defended, so i struck.

Going off to make a coffee and play it further, more posts with more refined images coming your way! XD

Not making it to difficult to start off with, as it's hard enough as Wales.

At the moment; Realistic armies- E.G no armies of only cav.
No reloading/cheating; Duh.
Play out majority of battles..

Donno what battle this was; outnumbered, with mostly archers, i had to use gurilla tactics to try and win this battle. reinforcements or 2 archers at the rear, trying to take out the enemy general.




But.. He flees....

And runs into another group of archers, taking himself out of the battle.


With one group of archers being chased, the others surround and fire.




Meh.. he'll do.

As i ended my turn, the english assulted the fort.

So i sallied.. completely outnumbered..

NOT!


Basically they ran,i gave chase, pinned with spears then flanked.

Sorry guys, got bored of this campaign; but i will play it again sometime soon XD

Probly go start a new AAR, but not before i crop the images, make everything a bit more tidy.

Why is this AAR called a welsh AAR when you are doing a campaign playing the mayas? It's a good AAR but the title is wrong.

lol he was doing a welsh campaign but he got bored


then he made a mayan AAR and he probably cpy and paste his mayan AAR to here
