Default Britannia Campaign: Ireland Memory Leak?

    Hi all,

    I'm having graphical problems.

This might be a graphical taxing on my Nvidia 7300 LE card or a memory leak, if anyone has experienced this:

I'm playing as the Irish in the Britannia campaign and when I'm playing a campaign battle, the loading of the initial battle screen takes forever. It seems as though the campaign map screen mixes with the "Wait/Start" initial battle screen.

    Strange. :hmmm:

Has anyone else experienced this? :hmmm:

    hellas1 Thanks

i've experienced what i assume to be also a "memory leak" with the Irish campaign. During my first battle in Turn 2 i siege-assaulted the castle in the Ulster region. The game CTDs in the Pre-Battle screen.. and I look at the Process Window (CTRL-ALT-DEL) and the "kingdoms" process just keeps on increasing memory usage. i.e. the crash doesn't kill the program.. but it does CTD. This crash situation happens always. Never fails to crash.

I'm starting Wales tonight to see if this keeps happening.

I had no problems in my Americas campaign.

I'm on a Sony Vaio laptop with an Nvidia G0 7700

    Hi again all,

I've lowed the resolution to the game and played a custom battle as the irish, it seems o.k. now BUT I must try a new campaign.

Maybe it was an overt taxing on my graphics card. I have the newest Nvidia drivers as well!

    I'll let you know! hellas1

    Once...

Only once though. I had the same load problem- took about 15 minutes to load from battle screen to campaign map and vice versa.

I closed down and re-loaded- played fine... still plays fine. The only thing I can guess is that when it happened was my longest stretch of un-interrupted playing (about 70-80 turns) usually I only play about 20 at a time.

But like I said... not duplicated.
