Command Prompt and Hot Key List appear and game gets muted all at once (game error)

i recently bought vista and reinstalled MTW2, how ever i'm getting a real odd thing happening: i'll have the command prompt and the hot key list both pop up and the game gets muted.also sometimes it will randomly load my game from turn 1. this happens randomly( i think, i haven't noticed a pattern) in and out of battle. i've installed the 1.2 patch and i still have this problem, any suggestions? if you need more info, let me know.

also, i don't get an error message, the game doesn't crash, it's just real annoying.

so i found out that whenever i push a F key(F1,F2,etc) i get the error, but happens even when i don't do that. i have a wireless keyboard, i'm going to try switching it.

so using a wired keyboard seems to work...but i don't want to use the wired one, any ideas why i would get this kind of error from a keyboard?

hmm, had this problem with xp, too. also have a wireless keyboard, would be funny if this was the reason

You need to get the latest drivers for your wireless keyboard.

And yes the wireless keyboard is the cause of the problem.
