oh sure.
if you are looking for unit rosters though, you should check out this link
Meet the Julii (Romans):
Starting from left to right...
PEASANTS
Capabilities: getting slaughtered in melee fights; routing at the first sight of danger; getting put in the front lines for the purpose of absorbing the enemy's missile fire
TOWNWATCH
Capabilities: as their names imply, they're capable of watching their towns burn while being unable to do anything about it
AUXILIA
Capabilities: warming the bench for the more useful Triarii units
HASTATI
Capabilities: not a whole lot online
TRIARII
Capabilities: killing the enemy's cavalry (just in case the Praetorian Cavalry needs a break)
PRINCIPES
Capabilities: N/A
EARLY LEGIONARY COHORT
Capabilities: looking cool when you zoom the camera in
SAMNITE GLADIATORS
Capabilities: allows you to re-enact some battles from Spartacus (starring Kirk Douglas)(not the mini-series starring Goran Visnjic)
LEGIONARY COHORT
Capabilities: looking cool in that armor
PRAETORIAN COHORT
Capabilities: warming the bench for the useful Urban Cohorts; still capable of winning the game for you though
URBAN COHORT
Capabilities: being an overpowered unit; winning the game single-handedly (usually in conjunction with Praetorian Cavalry); pissing historians off at the complete disregard for history
ARCANI
Capabilities: satisfying Shogun: Total War fans who miss their ninjas; pretending they're Persian Immortals from the movie, "300"; also capable of pissing historians off at the complete utter disregard for history
EARLY LEGIONARY FIRST COHORT
Capabilities: excellent at wasting your denarii when you can purchase the game-winning Urban Cohorts
LEGIONARY FIRST COHORT
Capabilities: same as "Early Legionary First Cohort"
ROMAN ARCHERS
Capabilities: shooting arrows at a discount cost; great for spamming in No Rules games
VELITES
Capabilities: helping Rome overcome its weakness against Elephants
LIGHT AUXILIA
Capabilities: see "Velites"
ARCHER AUXILIA
Capabilities: kind of like Roman Archers, but better (albeit more expensive); a nice way of reminding you that Rome will beat you in almost every department
INCENDIARY PIGS
Capabilities: giving online gamers something to chuckle about
WARDOGS
Capabilities: being man's best friend; useful in recreating that most important hypothetical question, "Who would win between Spartacus and Cujo?"
EQUITES
Capabilities: running away from the enemy
ROMAN CAVALRY
Capabilities: see "Equites"
LEGIONARY CAVALRY
Capabilities: warming the bench (or stalls) for the more useful Praetorian Cavalry; still better than non-Roman cavalry
ROMAN GENERAL
Capabilities: not sure really, but they can run really fast
PRAETORIAN CAVALRY
Capabilities: winning games single-handedly (usually in conjunction with Urban Cohorts); being an overpowered unit; pissing historians off at the complete disregard for history; getting banned from online games; laughing hysterically at Sacred Band Cavalry and Companion Cavalry; making the game completely imbalanced
ROMAN ARMORED GENERAL
Capabilities: same as "Roman General," but more expensive
CAVALRY AUXILIA
Capabilities: can run in circles really fast (very useful if you're making a Western)
BALLISTAS
Capabilities: getting killed at close-range; looking semi-cool when the camera is zoomed-in
SCORPIONS
Capabilities: same as "Ballistas"
REPEATING BALLISTAS
Capabilities: same as "Ballistas," but more expensive
ONAGERS
Capabilities: killing Dumbo; getting banned from online games; not really capable of much though
HEAVY ONAGERS
Capabilities: same as "Onagers"

Have you ever considered a career as a cynic?
Asking for rep is a sure fire way to not receive any, at least from this old cynic.

Meet the Seleucids:
PEASANTS
Capabilities: human shields; running away
MILITIA HOPLITES
Capabilities: unknown
LEVY PIKEMEN
Capabilities: see "Militia Hoplites"
PHALANX PIKEMEN
Capabilities: giving the enemy easy kills (aka "Heroic Victories"); looking deadly from a far-distance
SILVER SHIELD PIKEMEN
Capabilities: tricking players into substituting Silver Shield Pikemen for Silver Shield Legionaries (thinking their higher cost correlates to a qualitative superiority)
SILVER SHIELD LEGIONARIES
Capabilities: looking like Roman Cohort units; getting owned by Roman Cohort units
PELTASTS
Capabilities: none actually
ARCHERS
Capabilities: spamming
GREEK CAVALRY
Capabilities: looking like cowboys close-up; running away like cowgirls
GENERAL'S BODYGUARD
Capabilities: despite what the name says, they can't even guard themselves against heavy cavalry; nice way to throw your denarii away
COMPANION CAVALRY
Capabilities: excellent charge bonus (offset by less-than-excellent unit stats); getting owned by Praetorian Cavalry
CATAPHRACTS
Capabilities: slaying heavy cavalry and infantry in 1-on-1 fights; getting exhausted before the battle begins; getting outflanked by Praetorian Cavalry
SCYTHED CHARIOTS
Capabilities: very photogenic (great for screenshots); can slaughter any cavalry unit; running amok; killing friendly units; giving generals a reason to pull their hair out
GENERAL'S ARMOURED BODYGUARD
Capabilities: wasting your denarii; getting owned by heavy cavalry; the extra HP is very useful when you're running away from the enemy's arrows
ELEPHANTS
Capabilities: running your own troops over; getting banned online; the only unit that can actually be beaten by Incendiary Pigs *chuckle*
WAR ELEPHANTS
Capabilities: see "Elephants"
ARMOURED ELEPHANTS
Capabilities: see "Elephants"
MILITIA CAVALRY
Capabilities: scaring off chariots; running out of ammunition before the battle even starts; running in circles (reminding you of your early childhood)
ONAGERS
Capabilities: getting banned online; hitting your own troops in the back

You'd go rather well.

Nice posting prince! Didn't know that you disliked the romans and the selucids that much. You should write one of these descriptions to a team that gets owned all the time (for example Gaul, Greece etc). I like your way of saying that other phalanxes than Macedon's are so completely useless, and then say that the Macedonian phalanxes rules. Silver shield pikemen are as good as Royal pikemen, or maybe better. But I agree with you, Macedon will crush anything in the way!
you're hilarious barbarian prince.![]()
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."
