external hard drives
i have a windows vista hp laptop computer, i have bought an external hard drive to store my games,music,etc.
i have medieval II installed in my external hard drive but when i try to install patch 1.2 it installs itself automatically in someplace where medieval II would be if it were installed on the computer's onboard hard drive( this causes it to not install at all) so is there any way to fix this? by the way i always try to install patch 1.2 euro version.

You should get to choose where the patch is installed. When asked just direct the patch to the sega folder on the alternate install.
