not Sparta of course...they didn't have walls then. maybe Thermon??? it's a stab in the dark...give us a clue..is it in Greece?
I'M BAAAAACCCCCKKKKKKK!
I would have to guess Athens due to the Acropolis looking rock in the middle...

Great work though I am not sure how the AI will find its way with all the dodgy path finding. btw what happened to the Thermoplyae map you were creating?
No .This is not true .The ancient and eternal capital of the world .No .Resurrected ?! Bravo !
Jerusalem? Persepolis? Tyre? I don't know but it's a nice model.
Well, obviously, it's Athens - easy to recognize by the Acropolis.
It's still in early stages but the streets are pretty much finished - I have a lot of generic houses to make for this city, including the Agora, complete Acropolis and the theater cut into the Acropolis rock.
I only have around 3 hours a day to work on this, but I'll try my best.
About the pathfinding - it's a piece of cake, RTW uses a very simple .CAS file to figure out the pathfinding, which consists of numerours sections (simple rectangles); the less number of sections between two distinct points, the shorter the way - which is where the units will run through.
It will be released for XGM - Diadochi when finished and released as an add-on patch hopefully in the near future.

Will this be available for normal XGM? It looks pretty awesome
Were the acropolises of other Greek cities very different from the one in Athens?
Redfox, awesome, it will look very nice when sieging/defending Athens, can't wait!!!

The problem is that when you have such a beautiful Athens, all the other major cities get jealous.
Where's Rome?!![]()

Looks neat. But didnt Athens had a moat? Or was that Byzantium.... Would be cool if you could recreate the long wall to Athen's port.

RedFox, It's nice to hear you are working on Diadochi.

Woah, those are some SWEET models!![]()
"So there I am, in Sri Lanka, formerly Ceylon, at about 3 o'clock in the morning, looking for one thousand brown M&Ms to fill a brandy glass, or Ozzy wouldn't go on stage that night. So, Jeff Beck pops his head 'round the door, and mentions there's a little sweets shop on the edge of town. So - we go. And - it's closed. So there's me, and Keith Moon, and David Crosby, breaking into that little sweets shop, eh. Well, instead of a guard dog, they've got this bloody great big Bengal tiger. I managed to take out the tiger with a can of mace, but the shopowner and his son... that's a different story altogether. I had to beat them to death with their own shoes. Nasty business, really. But, sure enough, I got the M&Ms, and Ozzy went on stage and did a great show."

Dude, awesome!
