I can't view my unpacked files

i've unpacked the unpacker and im pretty sure it worked as the SEGA folder is now 32GB. However i cannot see any of the unpacked files - what is wrong?

im using vista and i have enabled the option in control panel to view all hidden files.

No idea. But, open the command prompt and navigate to the data directory or whever you unpacked and type "dir /s" ... should show you lots of files. See if it adds up to 32 gigs or what not. Also at the command prompt, in the folder where you unpacked, type "start ." and invoke explorer that way, might be some shell goofyness going on.

try this file path (i have vista too and it stores certain files in a weird way):

C:/Users/User/AppData/Local/Sega*/Medieval II

*May be different publisher for you, its Sega in the UK. That is if your not from UK lol Hope that helps.

i still cant find them, and @ Titus i can't find SEGA or anything similar in the directory you told me - i do have the english version tho

when you unpacked the files did it take ages? or did it do it really quickly because you would know if it didnt work if it took a second to unpack. If you enter 'y' to the three questions it asks before it unpacks it should have taken a little while to unpack.
Vista is weird with files. It seems to store them in different places, like copies or something, try searching about but they should be there in your main Medieval folder. well only thing i can think of is that it must not have unpacked correctly.

thanks - i now found them in virtualstore/sega.

but i have a new question, if i want to d/l and install a patch where do i install it to? and is there anyway to put all the files in one place?

i find in the virtualstorefolder only a few files, but not all. the unpacking took a quater of an hour for me.
