Missing Camel Gunners

So, im playing as the moors and I hit the gunpowder age. I go and try to build camel gunners and..... there not in the recruitment roster. I have the caversatory.... or whatever you call them and the building says it can build the camel gunners, like it should, but the camel gunners arn't there. The only mod i have installed is the Lite mod and I did check the EDU and EDB and everything is were it should be. I do have the older 1.02 version, but I want to make sure it isn't something else before I go messing around with getting the patch.

Do they require the camel resource?

probably not because i can build tureg camel spearmen anywhere. And I just realized that all gunpowder units are missing. I searched the forum and I found one other person complaining of this, but I do not think they got an answer.

... so from this overwhelming response, im assuming that no one has a clue what is going on or no one cares. ok, im just going to install the 1.3 patch and see if it fixes it and if that doesn't work im just reinstalling out of desperation.
