    Icon4 The Crusader General - Experimental Mod

    The Crusader General - MAI "E" Mod (*experienced players only)

    This is a MAI type "E" Mod (*experimental).

    Play the game as an english crusader general sent by Henry II in the Holy Land to protect the pilgrims. You will receive one small castle to start with but you will be faced with all the problems that the crusaders once faced.

    1. Play with the main army units only and no named characters anywhere on the map for your faction - you are the general so you don't have access to nobles (*maybe bribe some). You are not the king nor can you influence the king Henry. You will get a few reinforcements but you will have acces to english type of armaments and units if you can afford them.

    2. The game starts from turn two - make sure you press it before moving any unit.

    - Edit (If Henry II wants to get a wife in turn two refuse or restart).

    There was one problem with this mod. When it was turn 2 an army appeared but it was a captain not a general. In the campaign_script.txt you had

    character random_name, general, age 18, x 93, y 58

    when it should be

    character random_name, named character, age 18, x 93, y 58
