Lagging in BI campaign map

hello, i'm new here.

i wonder why i get low fps in BI campaign map. it works fine in RTW, but in BI its really slow.

oh, and one more question, what's the function of battle editor?

Having the same issue for years now. Nobody else experienced this or knows what causes it? Yes, my PC is not top-notch but it shouldn't have a problem with RTW: BI. For comparison, I run Roma Surrectum mod with Alexander.exe and there is no campaign map lag when scrolling.
