Icon4 Unlimited Ammo? lets get this settled please

I have looked for a solution to the "No limited_ammo line" in the preferences through forums, official sega forums, the sega website, and to the point of actually calling SEGA itself today ever since 12:30 this morning, but to no avail! Every time I found a post talking about the issue it came to a dead end of people saying "Hmmm i dont think there is a option for that in the preferences file..." what does that solve? all you are doing is restating the question! A point that I dont want to do is to Edit the unit file by giving it massive ammunition. Another thing that I have done already is to unpack the batch files and add a "limited_ammo = 0" to the Preferences file and even set it to "Read Only", that did not work either. So please if you have successfully done this please make this post the FIRST successful thread solving the issue, and give your solution to this unsolved problem.
    -Thanks

P.S. and please dont put posts saying why i want to do this, or how historically inaccurate this would be, or saying "ive tried that also but nothing happened lol." Or else this thread will fall juest like all the others. Please juest try to solve the problem and post possible solutions.

There is no such command. Alternatively go to the EDU file and set their ammo to say 10000. Should be enough.

Cole: "You're telling me what not to shoot in here? Look at this ****!"

Carmine: "Landown? I heard there's a ****load of grubs down there..."

    Marcus: "More like 10 ****loads"

Dom: "Marcus, ya ever seen them feed on imulsion?"

Marcus: "Hmph, they can eat **** and die for all I care..."

    Yeh that should work.

Hey wasn't there an option for this in RTW?

In RTW there was an option to play the game arcade stile. It was this feature that enabled unlimited ammo. This feature has been removed from M2TW, which means that the unlimited ammo doesn't work anymore.

I think that it is more realistic to edit the EDU. Unlimited ammo also means that javelin infantry and cavalry have unlimited ammo. And what about those rotten cows flying all over the battle field. Editing the EDU, although a lot of work, means that your archers have a more realistic amount of ammo.
Officer to a soldier who refuses to fight: There three types of soldiers who don't have to fight. They are called KIA, MIA and POW and you are not one of them.

    Tosa will be missed.

EDU = export_descr_unit.txt. You have to unpack this file. The unpacker is in the tools folder. After unpacking the file it can be found in the data folder.
