I like the first kind since its clearer to me. If you have the time can you get more shots like that around anatolia and other parts of the mideast? Its not superbly urgent but I'd like to get an idea if I missed any critical regions.
Thanks a lot Kepper.![]()

Very cool Kepper, thank you for them.
I'm always keeping my eye out for new faction's to research. I think I've pretty much ran out of them, but given that game features such a deep scope of detail, I'm wondering if you could check these areas and mention the factions within them:
- Iran (North, East, and South)
- Northern India (Including the Hindu-Kush)
However if the game can't start earlier than 1187, or can't reach India, then that wont' be possible. If so, that's quite alright and thanks

Yeah, was worried about that.
I had read in a book of the Ismaili Sects that in the fracturing that followed the Seljuk Empire, there was a Mazandaran (Daylami, basically) dynasty that seemed independent in Northern Iran, and found the two possible dynasties it could have been (Baduspanids and Bavandids), but I was hoping for more knowledge to see if they hadn't been forced into vassals by the Khwarezmians yet.
For North India I had been looking into Kashmir, that fought off Mahmud and Muhammad of Ghor, and wanted to see if they were any sort of respectful power at this point and time.
@Kepper
Thanks alot for the anatolian pics. I will look the territories up and see if any of them are worth adding to BC's map.
Next time in-game can you scope around Syria and Iraq? Thanks, dude. +REP
Oh and also the provinces that border the caspian sea coast too.

A Daylami faction would be just about the most incredibly, superbly, magnificently kick ass ever.
A daylami faction would take away from the shah and the ghaznis
Well, I'm speaking largely from conceptualization here, as I have only researched it, and we have not discussed it at all.
You wouldn't need to remove Daylami outright from Khwarezm and Ghazni - especially as the latter used them at great length. The issue would be making it so they are a specialty of the Mazandaran faction. Much like how almost everyone gets HA, but only the Seljuks get close bow.
But this is something that has merely been looked into and mentioned briefly - there are no plans to include them, not even any real plans to discuss them for now.
So they'd just get better, different Daylami?
There's a lot of possibilities I've thought about regarding how to deal with that, but have not yet brought them up for discussion as we have no real plans for Mazandaran right now.
A Daylami faction would seem in the style of our mod, going for interesting factions like Makuria or Oman, but there's a lot of roadblocks which make introducing one as a viable faction complicated. Hence, we have not discussed it with any sort of seriousness, and it's one of many other factions floating around if we ever chose to return to them.
That being said, there is a leading conceptualization I have that I like a lot, but I haven't brought it up as right now it is merely idle speculation, and would not be proper to develop a serious concept for something that has been given no serious thought at the moment. To give a little bit of hope, I will say that Makuria and Oman were once idle speculation.
But so was Antioch and the Rus.Just like with those two, we have no plans for Mazandaran. Unlike those two, we have not discussed them really at all. And will not for awhile, if ever.

Is there a possibility of a Tibetan faction being added to the mod? Or a Kingdoms expansion?
Maybe. There's also the possibility BC wont do anything after 1.0. The future is wide open.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
wait.. after 1.0 BC is probably over?
The "probably not" was a reference to the tibetan faction. There's hardly any room for it. BC has a great collection of people behind it and I while we will all move on no doubt, BC 1.0 probably wont be the last thing we do at all.
