Problems playing the Turks...

Hi to all !!!

I've started a campaign as the turks, followed some tips from the strategy forum, took Adana, left Anatolia alone ( lost all my cities to the byzantines ) and concentrated my troops on Antioch, took Aleppo, Antioch, Damascus, alomst got rid of them...But the mongols arrive and are too strong, one time I lost antioch and the tripoli guys come out of nowhere and take 2 or 3 cities, mongols took Adana, no money left I'm done. Second try mongol bastards took Bagdad, and guys from Tripoli took 2 or 3 cities. What can I do ?

Not really a strategy per se, but see my original AAR set on H/VH (1 year = 1 turn) as the Turks for some tips. I'm not saying it will turn out the same way each time but I was winning the campaign until my hard drive fried.
