    Default Merging Jerusalem & Antioch

It does not sit with me well that the crusader states are set up as two factions especially at that time their were three.

Anyway, I would prefer to have just one faction called "The Crusader States" which means I need to merge everything to the Jerusalem faction and rename that faction. I assume that is a lot of work which I am happy to do, but I need advice on how to do it as I am quite the novice.

Anyone able to point out a good tutorial or perhaps give me a few points on how to do this?

So either no one knows or it is too complicated an answer for anyone to bother replying too.

Well, their are tutorials on how to add your own faction from scratch. Should I just create a new faction and work from there, deleting the old two? And if I do that then how do I completely remove the two old factions?

Or is their an easier way to accomplish what I want? :hmmm:

    hi
whilst it wouldnt be too complicated it would be time comsuming. I would think the simplist way would be to rename one of them to crusader states in the expanded txt file. Then copy across ownership of all the units in both the EDB and EDU.

Then in the battlemodles file you would have to reallocate skins to the chosed faction.

In the Desc_strat you would need to give the regions to the chosen faction and removed the faction which is not being used. And the win condtions would need to be altered.

hope this points you in the right direction. If you decide to take it on, PMand Im happy to talk you through each file.

    thanks
    Jason
