defend-sally-out formation
Hi,
Anyone know if there is a better way to change the enemy's (AI) formation on defending against a sally? Config_ai_battle has allowed me to alter the distance the AI rallies, but can't seem to change their behavior too much. The only value I can find that is close is <formation>ai_triple_missiles_in_front</> but if I change the formation, then the AI is going to be even more stupid in the field. I have increased the distance infantry will charge and decreased the skirmish value for missile units, other than that, not sure what else there is to do.
I'd like the AI to charge the gates when they open so that a big cluster fudge of a battle happens at the gates instead of them running away all the time. If I have to chase one more jinette around the map I'll go crazy.
