This guy has no hope of getting elected in my opinion. I say this because the media has already decided who the players are and Ron Paul is not one of them from what I've seen and heard in Mass Media outlets.

I know his name has been thrown about these forums before, but those videos have definitely put the man on my radar. He's saying the type of things that no one else is saying and has a definite ring of truth in my mind. However, he is a polician trying to get elected. I guess its time to do more research on the boy and decide whether or not to spread the good word.

Reiksmarsal, I have to respond to this September 28 video. With all due respect, Ron Paul has so much posturing, it's really disturbing. He postures about non-intervention on foreign soil, and he is full of himself when he forgets how Thomas Jefferson sent the entire US Navy to battle with the Barbary States, who made no attack on US soil. Lets not forget Crimea, war with Mexico. Please. Ron Paul has so much posturing about how he's defender of the Constitution, it's revolting. He's full of it when he talks about foreign affairs.

You find it revolting when people are passionate about the Constitution?

Anyways Ron Paul wanted a Marque and Reprisal against the people responsible for 9/11 the very same type of reprisal used to get the Barbary Pirates. We wouldn't be wasting valuable resources warring against foreign states and nation building them. Instead we would be focused on the specific terrorists responsible for 9/11.

The US put up with being attacked for 15 years they where paying ransom to get ships and hostages back. Payments in ransom to the privateering states amounted to 20 percent of United States government annual revenues in 1800. Look its plan and simple the US is going to go bankrupt if it continues overspending like it has been since the Bush administration. Have you not notice the dollar declining rapidly or the state of the economy? I do not support all of his views but his views on the economy are light years ahead of the other candidates. I would just like to see the US to continue its prosperity that we have enjoyed.

Only if the majority of Americans are smart enough to realize that he would make the best President, damn mainstream media is so biased or censored that the only people discovering Ron Paul are internet users for the most part. I think that he has much more support then what the media will let you believe and certainly has more donations coming in from the regular votes. God will give us justice!

So you like the IRS? What about the federal reserve being privately owned by bankers and making profit off of the tax payers money? Those two reason are good enough for me. I pay about $1,000 a month alone in federal income not to include fica (social security), medicare, or state taxes. The others total roughly $400.00 a month. So I pay $16,800 in taxes a year that really doesn't benefit me. So yes if I can put $12,000 of my own money back into my pocket I will!

Wow! I guess I listened to the media too much. Ron Paul sounds like a great politician. Hes now in my top 3 people for president. In fact I might like him better then Thompson if I knew more about Ron Paul. He sounds like a very honest guy. However, I have two big problems. How could a moderate Republican survive in Texas? Is he anti-abortion, anti-gay rights, and anti-education? Second, he was praised by Reagan yet, their views are so different. Reagan didnt give a **** about the world but Ron Paul does. Other then that it seems that I understand most of his opinions. His bashing of Guiliani makes love Ron Paul.

BTW, this is the first time that I have ever had two republicans in my top three for president. They are Thompson and Paul along with Hilary.

Not spending a lot of money on education and lowering the money spent on it genrally shows a lack of care for it. You know John Faso. Imagine what shape NY would be if he was elected. He didnt care about education and came close openly saying it.

Now I disagree with him. Most people who want abortions are young women many who dont want the prominent man in their life to know. That would make it very hard for these women to live a happy life. Who wants to have a kid at the age of 18? It happens a lot. Kids my age or older get abortions. There would be a lot of kids my age and in my school who would be screwed if they couldnt get an abortion. However, at least he would let some states keep it.

No, he sounds like a politician thats whats good about him. He understands diplomacy, trade, and domestic issues. Many "politicians" in his party are babbling about how church and states should be mixed.
