Default Islams fighting Crusaders... or Running

Has anyone else noticed the fact that the Islamic nations in crusades have such horrible moral its almost impossible to lose. I mean I sent an inexperienced general against them, and in 4 battles of their armies routing he gained full dread. Then with full dread he would make anything route just by attacking it. I don't understand why the Islamic nations moral is so low but has anyone else experienced it?

No Sense !!!! Dreams keep you a life. When ever reached a dream you make new ones.

Has anyone else noticed the fact that the Islamic nations in crusades have such horrible moral its almost impossible to lose. Also no logic here:
First you say is is so easy for a general of islammic nation to gain drad in 4 consecutively battles. And in the end you are saying why is moral so low ?

Do you see any coherence ?? so horrible moral = slow moral ???

So you are talking about moral of a society ?? Or is it the moral from the troops ?? Both makes any sense in choherence to your conclusion ??

When you fight an army and let the captives free, then the value chivalry increases. If you kill thema all, the atrribute chavalry turns dread.
But this should be clear. So it depends on your behaviour of general and not if islamic or catholic.

In a of the MTW series, all the islamic nations had low morale because lack of armour and lack of melee, so I think the game is correct. Now they should only have high morale during jihads because that is when they had no problems dying. All armies will break given enough time and death. Do YOU really want to die that day on the battlefield? Not me I run.

Pfff Jihad. Priority numer one for the muslims was: Jerusalem and catholics go home.
In the koran the word Jihad appears only 4 times under war and under friendly circumstances.

So because english wikipedia site do not have the neede quality standard i cite the german site:

Muslim troops have about the same morale as crusaders.

Cant say I've ever noticed anything of this kind. What do you normally do during battle? It could be that you are good at fighting Islamic armies and force a rout based on skill. Though the dread helps too.
    I love you all!

I can't say that I've noticed any great discrepancy in the morale values of the different factions in the Crusades campaign. If anything, I've been surprised at how readily my knights rout (playing as Jerusalem) in comparison to the traditionally poor Islamic infantry.

Many things affect morale though - are you fighting captain-led armies? Are you using fire or artillery? Are you flanking? Are you using your dread-enabled general in melee? All of these things will cause your enemies to rout considerably sooner.

Also, what battle difficulty is your campaign set to? I'm not sure if there's any morale bonus or penalty to the different difficulties anymore, but playing VH battles seems to induce less whole-sale routing from the AI.

Hmm, your difficulty settings are important for your enemies morale.
if you play on very easy or easy, they will run so fast so you cant even kill the first line of them.
if you play on hard/very hard, they get a morale boost and fight a bit better.
also, i suggest you to play against Janissaries (no need to be Janissary heavy infantry, every janissary unit is high moraled)
and then tell me the story of demoralized islamic soldiers again

in the crusades, euro forces stomped the crap out of islamic forces before being whiped out within there newly conquered fortresses/citys (within 100 years). So give iit time before they start to swarm you.

Yes, I noticed the Turks seem to route almost on contact. Much to quick. Probably needs some tweaking.
