Creating HighRes Campaign Image

I would like to stitch together several highres screen shoots from my campaign map to make a combined map. So far all attempts have led to the glitches at the stitching line.
Are there any techniques and/or application that people use for this purpose?

i don't think you can. the campaign map slides underneath your camera, so several screenshots simply won't fit, since your lower "stiching line" is always shorter than your upper "stiching line", resulting in an angle for your left and right "stiching lines" --- like this:

you can't stich parallellograms like that together ...
