[Moved to vote] Proposal - Obi wan Asterix for Opifex

Fellow citizens, I would like to take this opportunity to right what I see as a major injustice, one member of TWC has most definately not got what he deserves, I am talking, of course, of Asterix.

The list of his contributions is huge, I can come up with the following, I'm sure there are more:

Supporters - Muizer, Jubal_Barca, Ferrets54, jimkatalanos, Roman_Man#3, Publius, Garbarsardar, Arakorn-eir, gigagaia, Halie Satanus, Sapi - at least one of which is CdeC

Creation of Curial Councils - his original idea
Creation of the Consillium de Civitates
Development of the CdC's working mechanism
Key Member of the Knights of Saint John responsible for handing over the site to IMB39 last January
Original proposer of Opifex and Artifex awards
One of the longest serving staff members to date
Figure of stability and ethics during the crises of May 2005, December 2005, August-September 2006 and January 2007
Original RTR Team member together with Gaius Julius, as a strong supporting figure to his work
Active Team member of 3 mods
Contributing member to other mods - working with skinners for historical accuracy or responsible for historical texts and documents
Administrator responsible for maintenance of the front page and content forum for a year
Original supporter of the tribunal system
Countless amounts of other legislative input
Countless hours working on moder relations, including keeping EB on TWC and negotiation a return of RTR.
Countless hours, weeks and months of a two years of his life poured into moderation and administration of TWC before the development, which he assisted heavily, of all these efficient and comfortable systems
He served as a voice of sanity opposing rash reactions by admins and staff
He proposed several successful deifications and opifex nominations

Why am I posting this? Because I have watched while Asty remains anonymous in an environment he used to be a familiar face in. His actions have faded into the past and I think it is definately time for him to be honoured for his contribution to TWC as a whole.

Long overdue. Thanks to Tactical for taking the trouble to assemble Asterix' palmarez. Opifex and/or Divus though. Opivus? Difex?

I must admit, I thought long and hard about Divus but went for Opifex - very close decision though

Take into account the following:

He merciless spammed the modding forums first, opening the famous RTR countdown thread where everyone had to post a number which broke the TWC record of 1300 posts or something like that
He then was promoted by Crandar himself to spam the living caboudles out of the Curia right when the place was falling apart
He later was drafted and became the primary spammer of the moderating forums.. posting a specific thread for every bit of nonsense that came into his head
His spamming aside - he has wrecked discord and propagated sectarian ideals in an otherwise unitary website
If you think he is polite you should see the nude women - I mean nipples! - that he has been spamming Ana with
He is a fanatical Argentine national working behind the scenes to hand over TWC to Kirchner as collateral for the loss of the Malvinas (Falklands)
You cant trust him - he spends time lurking in the barbarian taverna
He caused the RTR explosion by relentlessly campaigning behind the scenes against Nowonmai
He once almost got into a fistfight with simetrical over the palestine-israeli conflict - and they threw heavy insults at each other over violence and islam
He thinks Nihil is TWC's intellectual gem
He still addresses sib as "Generalismo"
None of the members he patronized know where the prothalmos is, with the exception of Trajan who preffers modding and Sidus "Frenchy Poo" Preclarum who spits in its general direction
He has not finished the last four faction descriptions he has had to do for Ran No Jidai in over 15 months and running!
He unleashed Garabarsadar on the site for his second coming! Convinced him to rise from the ashes of May 2005 and spread Greekness evenly on the embattled .net....
