What Medieval 2 unit would you like to be?

Say you get the choice to travel back in time and get to fight as one of the soldiers in a Medieval 2 unit? Which unit would you join.

I would prefer to join the Dismounted Dvor. I just love archers and I also have a bow myself which I use a lot (sorry rats). And they had the ability to fight back in melee too.

So tell us which unit you'd like to join.

Meh, if I was wearing some sort of armor that blocked cuts and severed limbs, but had the same effect as them (like you get pain in the area or you lose control of the limb/area) then why not? Might be a sport I'd be good at except rugby

I think peasant would be the safest thing





At least my peasant units never have to fight. It simply never happened that a city was attacked in which I had peasant units. They act just as policemen to raise the public order.

I would be the guy in the tower of a city or castle shooting at the bad guys. Easy life really.

If I had to go out into the field then I would obviously be a Sherwood archer. Hide in trees, shoot stuff, hide some more, and wear bright green tights. It would be a dream come true for me.
