I was just wondering why the macedonians are using the Lambda as their icon while the gcs are using a thunderbolt?

Coz CA made the game that way originally, even though its a Southern greek emblem (Sparta, etc.). Its just a technicality they overlooked, nothing major really.

Greece wasn't one country, they were city states. One symbol for a united Greece at the time is a bit confusing.

I have a theory. I think some joker at CA thought the Lambda symbol looked like an "A" (for "Alexander").

I think it's funny now.

hey, on the inside of the CD case(not sure which one), the pic has macedonians holding a wall... and the symbol is an "A" and not a "upsidedownV i cannot portray on a western keyboard"

just go to start and then click on run and type in charmap and press enter. halfway down there wshould be cyrilic and greek characters.
