It’s a question, because I see nothing special about marring your heir to anther factions daughter or faction daughter to your heir.....lol
Like can you get something else out of it other than a stronger alliance?

Well you can get a general from another faction if you marry one of your own princesses to him.

If you get the pop-up that a princess wants to marry your general, you don't get an alliance. You won't even know what faction she comes from.

The only thing that happens is he gets a loyalty boost and will pump out children.

If you get the marriage pop-up I think that means a princess from your own faction wants to marry one of your generals/family members.

Ok here it goes
You know how there are princes on the campaign map itself. of yours and other factions
If you go to them with a diplomat you may have the option to propose a marriage to you faction heir
