Default Farthest you ever got in a DLV campaign...

..Or dare I ask, have we got anyone here who's completed one? You get a medal if you have .
So the DLV campaign is of such a mammoth size I'm just curious to see the records on how far anyone has got into one. With the temptations of starting over as a different faction or downloading the next DLV version it's always been difficult for me.
I think my longest campaign was the HRE going into the 1270s, no campaign map screenshots unfortunately.
If you've got any map screens show them so we can see the type of world DLV might be going into 15th century.

My longest campaign in DVL went on to about 1285 or around that time, i tend to imstall new versions or start with a new faction by then, i rarely get to use gun powder, have never seen America or Timuids, but hey i dont care

longest i got was into the 1300's but that was a much earlier version of dlv.
since then ive only made it the mid 1200's, i keep trying new factions and new versions come out.

Maybe 1210 as France, once I capture all of 'modern' France I get bored and go on crusades .....

    Same probably for England/Venice

Didn't manage to complete one campaign. But I usually only play until victory is imminent and there is no real challenge left. The amount of time a turn takes usually forces me out of the game that moment (though I like the script effects).
From the pride and arrogance of the Romans nothing is sacred. But the vindictive gods are now at hand. On this spot we must either conquer, or die with glory (Boudiccas Speech, Tacitus, Annals, XIV, 35)

under Patronage of Emperor Dimitricus, Granddaughter of the Black Prince.

1314 playin with the ottoman empire, once both timurids and the black death was overcome, then everything else was thinking which lands to conquer and getting them in two turns... my money bag was around 200k and keeping growing.

it was an awesome campaign, but granted, i played so far because it was so great, but DLV went from 3.03 to 5.01 in between my campaign and the new one i just started

btw turn lenght is much shorter because of less factions alive... but now we have hording freeze so i guess that counters it XD

around 1250 I think as Kievan Rus. H/VH Was #1 in everything so quit, plus new things were out.

What's the overall state of DLV 5?
Kingdoms just came in the mail the other day, so I'm wondering if I should go ahead with it or start a new campaign in 4.03. I'd really like to try playing at least into the 1300's, which for me will take easily 4 weeks, probably more.

I tried a campaign in kingdoms after having played DLV for a long time but I just couldn't handle it... Beautiful new skins, great music, but the gameplay after getting used to DLV is pretty unbearable

Playing as Scotland, I took over most of Europe and the Middle-East, and all of the Americas. My purse was almost 2 million, and I actually won the campaign, heh. It's the only campaign I've ever played long enough to get to the plague and the Timurids though.
