    Default Some fuzzy questions...

I think the wiki is down, I kept on getting a 404 so...a few questions for the smart people over here:

    1. How can I get recently annexed lands to earn money? I got Troubekleleleleleele (sp) from Morooco in a war 50+ years ago and it's earning +0.1 and the other area I got from them is still at 0.0. I just got Navarre to cede Beorn (sp) and I don't want the same thing to happen. A bit frustrating when I have 10 year old colonies having 0.5 each month...

    2. Wars of succession, holy wtf batman! I was sitting around staring at the mind-numbingly white area that is Australia when I get a notice that I'm part of a war because Castille was going to be ruled by me and Aragon (Castille's vassal) and Navarre didn't like it. Castille and I went out and pwnt them both, Aragon had only one territory left in the Iberian peninsula, when Castille gets cold feet and gets a white peace (wtf those whores)... So I go and keep on attacking but Aragon is too much so I make peace with them while winning Beorn in Navarre.

So...I won but I didn't? What happens if I succeeded to the Castillian throne? So confused....

    3. INFLATION OMG.

    How do I lower it?

Manual is MIA at the present, hope it's somewhere around here though....

    Cheers

    1. After the first 25 you gain a core on it then you gain yearly money. Otherwise what you need to make sure is that you build a workshop there and try to convert it. If its a different culture you will lose money as well. Also IIRC revolt risk lowers the money gained and not having a land connection.

    2. If you win the war, as one of the two main nations, there is a special peace agreement that chooses who becomes the personal union leader with the country they are fighting over. You have to demand this in a peace deal then you are in a personal union with them.

re: 1, is there any difference, revenue-wise, from a catholic (state religion) province at 100% tolerance, and a pagan province at 100% tolerance? In my current game, about 40% of my provinces would be the latter, and I really don't want to have to convert them all...

re 2, unfortunately if the nation in question has agreed to a white peace the option is no longer available

Also, to lower inflation, change your sliders to where your inflation is changed by -0.01 (at least, at this pace, it will take a long time to get to 0.00)

You can speed the process along by getting the National Bank idea.

    3. First of all, pull the "treasury" slider all the way down.
Then get the national bank idea and then lastly build tax assessors.
Doing this should knock it down around 0.5-0.7 every year, then you just have to wait.

Playing as Sweden, I had around 20 in inflation and is now down to 0 again.

Inflation is such a killer. Playing the Sengoku Jidai mod, Korea got attacked by the Japanese daimyo and their inflation ended up being 120+ before I liberated them .
