    What are you good people's opinions on the greatest band of all time? From what I see with my friends, you either love 'em, or hate 'em. Anyone else here been a fan since Long Drive?

    I haven't heard of these guys before, but the music was good. Has a nice chillout feel.

    Yea, they're a nice chilled-out band. I recommend getting their Moon and Antarctica album. It seems most palatable to the un-moused.

    The Moon & Antarctica is probably one of the greatest albums I've heard.

    I like Modest Mouse but I prefer Long Drive the most now...so relaxing and wonderful. Although Lonesome Crowded West is very good as well.

    The Moon And Antarctica is one of the best albums of all time. The musicianship and songwriting is almost perfect. Isaac Brock is genious.

    Unfortunately, I don't think so about the new album. The new album is too chaotic, which has its plusses sometimes, but overall it's just too much going on for me.

    Man I love MM, I have been a fan since Float On. My favorite album thought is We Were Dead Before the Ship Even Sank. Does any body hear like the music videos they release, I really like them.

    One of them for sure. Up there with Built to Spill, Pavement, etc as one of the best bands to come out of the 90s indie rock scene.*

    They're a very...interesting band. Their lyrics are incredible, and full of inside jokes and puns. I liked the video for dashboard. Now, have you listened to their older stuff? They evolved, and one of my favorite things to do is listen to all their albums in chronological order.

    *I don't think anyone could challenge my authority on Modest Mouse.
