I notice The Long Road has RTW level view distance, whereas vanilla and the Kingdoms campaigns only have limited distance before the terrain fogs out. Is there a setting you change that does this?
It might depend on your computer specs, I have no fog on the battlefield... unless it is foggy weather, which is a totally different issue![]()
I do not know what you are talking about. Honestly.
Hi!
Maybe he is talking about the camera in a battle. I have such a thing sometimes, too. In some battles i am able to move the camera to the other side of the battlefield, but most of the time it depends on where my units are. I dunno if it has to do with the "line of sight" your general has or what else the limitation of your camera affects.
I use the limited camera option in the game settings (or what ever it is called in the english settings; i am using a german version).
It might be that TLR reset some of your video settings, Richard, in the process of combining your preferences to the mod.
That's just a highly improbably guess; but it's all I can think might do that.
Check your video settings and maybe reset them to what you want.
Solution is simple, did you uncheck the "restrict camera" box under game options?
Baird: "Hey! Stop shooting it, you're pissing it off!"
Cole: "You're telling me what not to shoot in here? Look at this ****!"
_____________
Carmine: "Landown? I heard there's a ****load of grubs down there..."
Marcus: "More like 10 ****loads"
_____________
Dom: "Marcus, ya ever seen them feed on imulsion?"
Marcus: "Hmph, they can eat **** and die for all I care..."
That doesn't affect draw-distance though, just whether you can move the camera anywhere on the map as opposed to within a limited distance of your units.
What I'm talking about is being able to see, say, Rhodes or Cyprus from the mainland on a battle map. The draw distance; How far you can see, to put it another way.
This mod seems to increase it compared to vanilla. I'll post screens tomorrow.
I have the same question. Somehow my draw distance is very short. I use a 8800 Gt maybe the engine does not see the card as a performance card and scale back the draw distance? Anyway to fix this?
The effect is that the engine does not drawing far away mountains it just uses one colored mountains, which looks pretty bad.
