Installation Problem

I just bought the game (North American version as I live in Canada) today and when I insert the DVD into my purpose DVD drive nothing happens. An itermittent clicking-type noise is heard every 2-3 seconds but that's it. When I try to manually open up the DVD drive in My Computer the drive becomes unresponsive, not even being anle to show me the content of the drive. It just lingers in an indefinite loading stage. I haven't had any problems with my current DVD drive in the past. It works just fine with DVD movies, TV shows, and other games. My DVD-ROM drive is an LG Model GDR-8161B.

When my well-kept (free from junk programs and adware/spyware) high-end gaming PC experiences technical problems with games, it's 95% of the time because of built-in bugs withinh the games themselves. I hope this is one of those 5% moments that can be solved through some sort of hotfix solutuion.

Unlike other posters experiencing this same problem, I actually have a purpose DVD player.

A small correction to my above post is in order: This is the first time I've used my DVD drive to play a DVD game.
