Icon9 io file_first switch causing video problems

Im applogize if this is a real noob question but Ive been working on this for 2 days now and just not maiking any progress.

My goal is to increase my units size to 250 men a unit in MTWII Kingdoms (particularly in the Tuetonic campiagn).

I have unpacked the files and changed the soldier to 100. Ive added the --io first_file in the target line of the shortcut and the game loads fine until i get on the battle map. Once on the battle map I experience video problems as showed in the attached .jpg.

As soon as I remove the --io switch from the shortcut my video problems are gone but then I am not able to accomplish the increased unit size.

Can someone tell me how to fix this or what I may be doing wrong? Any help with this issue would be very greatly appreciated.

After reading some more threads on here I was able to resolve this problem by running the install_all batch and unpacking all the medeival 2 vanilla files. It works like a charm now.
