DARTH Battle AI with The Sicilian Vespers?

Would anyone be interested in helping me integrate the newest darth mod (1.4D) with Sicilian Vespers?

To install:

Copy these files into the SicilianVespers\data folder:

battle_config.xml
config_ai_battle.xml
descr_battle_movement_modifiers.txt

descr_pathfinding.txt
descr_pathfinding.db

To uninstall, simply delete the files.

Wow, I'd like to see how this plays out too... Maybe I'll test this as well.

Couple quick things I noticed are:
- Calvary do too well in melee with spear troops ( with darth maybe the 2 hitpoint is not needed.)
-infantry vs infantry combat very slow in terms of casualties.
- gunpowder units raise rifles but do not fire when underfire

To show us a comparison, please make battles without Darth Battle AI files, means with the pure SV, with certain troops, and after that make the same battles with Darth' files.

Then report about the battle outcome, for each case, with a list of the army compositions, and also tell about the chosen battle difficulty, the chosen unit seize, and the chosen terrain (or custom map name).

This would help to get an idea.

P.S. I'll look after the gun units, as this is new that they have a problem in SV.

average death time 6 secs first half of battle , 18 secs second half

4 Lancers (148) vs 4 Lanschkents (446)
initial deaths due to calvary charge 20-24 (frontal)
33 deaths 280 deaths

4 Heavy Pike militia(360) vs 4 Mailed Knights(120)
10-12 killed initial charge(frontal)
280 dead 74 dead

4 Feudal Knights(120) vs 4 armored sergeants(446)
10 killed in initial charge (frontal)
6 dead 225 dead (rest where captured)


4 Zwei Hander (268) vs 4 Kontari (360)
66 dead 257 dead
average time between deaths 4 secs ,
after initial charge Kontari dead very little damage to Zwei Hander

This where all done with the Darth files added , will conduct same battles with out files next.


The following are done without Darth files ie vanilla SV

overall the battles where much quicker and the AI was very straight forward as opposed to the darth tests where
the AI attempted to flank or take advantage of weak spots.

This is the most valuable statement.

The AI deployment and AI behaviour is obviously, what we can improve with the Darth files from above (i haven't expected something else).

However, one can check the thing still better out, if you battle with whole stacks on both sides, and then naturally a mixed army composition.

Additional, it would need siege test battles, and as well bridge battles.
