Is there a no CD Crack for RTR Platinum?

I have bought all the games legit: Rome Total War, Barbarian Invasion and Alexander. While playing RTW, I used a no CD crack so I wouldn't have to put Disk 1 in all the time.

I've now installed RTR Platinum! Incredible, I'm loving it. But is there a no CD crack for RTR Platinum? It's a pain having to insert Disk 1 each time I play.

Well, I think no, but if yes, no one can tell you here without breaking the ToS. Even though its for a seemingly legit purpose, its still against the rules, since others can use this to for illigit purposes.

However, there are legit programs that you can purchase (such as BlindWrite and Alcoholler 120%) that can produce CD/DVD images of the disks, then using a free program called Daemon Tools, you can "mount" that image onto a virtual disk drive so that the computer thinks that it is a real disk in a real drive and use the disk image off of your hard drive. This takes some space of course, as the image is the same size as the original disk. However, it is a legal way to do what you wan to do, and you have back-up copies of your disks in case they get damaged.

Just google the programs or the terms that I listed to find them.

Mods do not affect the CD required to play. Whichever exe you click or make a shortcut too will be the disc you will need to insert. In theory everything is the same in this regard CD wise. You will need the BI disc for BI exe mods or shortcuts and the RTW disc for RTW mods or shortcuts. BI offers much better AI and advanced features so it is usually preferable to make BI exe shortcut with the command -Mod: at the end of the shortcut to play Platinum with the BI exe.

Darkarbiter... I'm a bit confused. I use the RTW disk for RTR Rome and the BI disk for RTR BI. Okay, no problem there. But in the last sentence, are you saying that if I add -Mod to the end of the BW exe and direct it to launch RTR Platinum, I'll play RTR Rome with the 1.6 engine?

sorry but i dont understand the reason of this post...:hmmm:

make a copy of original RTW folder, install RTR 1.9 on this copy, install u RTW1.5 and BI 1.6 no cd crack, play RTR 1.9 without having to install every time the original cd...
