    I love mods, love modded mods even more! Alas, I'll probably mod your mod of his mod too! Fine tuning for the perfect experience.

    Thanks for the work.

    1. cool, look forward to your modifications of modded mods.

    2. unit movement is coded, look in the section for artillery in the battle.ai. I did this so that they would protect themselves.

    Yep.. i saw it.., but i'm still using Darth files.. the unit cohesion is better..

    I will try to merge your changes into darthmod.., but that must wait until i get a nice campaign..

    I liked the way the aI aproach to my lines and the really cool missile vs missile battles, but it doesn't keep anything at reserves.

    I have to llok at your files more closely.. those 48K must have a lot of usefull things compared to the 9K..

    Does anyone else CTD with "unspecified error" right after the enemy breaks down your gates and backs the ram up?

    Repeatedly now, as soon as the gates are broken down and the enemy just finishes backing the ram up and out of the way, I CTD.

    Anyone have any ideas?

    Thanks

    Is that what the log said, Unspecified Error. I was able to recreate this error in my own game but the log said that there where problems with the descr_strat, saying "The city core building level should be one less than the settlement level!" in several cities. So Im going to try to correct. Though this was in a new game, in a developed game this may not happen. Im going to check it out.

    This shouldn't be apart of my modifications as I have done nothing with buildings unless it is a problem with Diplomacy file. To with, I would be perplexed as to any notion of error at this time. I will also start a new game to bug-fix. Let me know your findings, Americanus.

    Yes the log says "unspecified error", no mention of anything else at the time of the CTD.

    I'm going to try full uninstall and reinstall with patching.

    I'll let you know of any changes.

    Thanks

    Same error as before. Not sure about this one...strange. Any ideas or pointers in the right direction?

    UPDATE: Vanilla doesn't crash, but TLR with Condo's updates cause crash every time when siege ram finishes busting down the gate and backs up to "park" the ram.

    that is one I was getting for some time but solved it through trial and error in 'world' file. Turned out to be problem with campaign_script file. I have already released a fix to this in another thread.

    http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showt...102853&page=17

    something to do with how the 'recovery' money is distributed to failing faction processes.

    it is 1143 CE, which the furthest I have been in this game since TLR 1.4

    THats right mate.

    Sorry Condo, but for the life of me i cant get the 200k starting gold. As the HRE i cant spend it quick enough, and its pouring out my ears.

    Teutonic Knights are flooding out of Frankfurt, upgraded to the teeth, and no ones being left alive.

    Check out my new info cards project for TLR.
    And my tutorialon how to make them.

    I downloaded Condos_Battle_Campaign_ans, dropped it into long road data folder...but I'm still CTD the same when a battering ram, after breaking down a gate, backs up and 'parks' next to the gate.

    Any help would be GREATLY appreciated...otherwise I can't do any sieges...

    Thanks guys

    I have made no modifications to the said item. I haven't modified anything to do with 'battering rams', 'ladders' or 'siege towers'.

    As I understand it, a battering ram sits next to the gate after it has battered the gate in.

    But what do I know, I just modified melee and ranged combat factors. Please don't add disinformation to my work. I have modified none of the sieging information.

    Please calm down. Here is where I'm coming from:

    I install MTW2, install Long Road...no CTD.

    I then add your files...CTD in the aforementioned situation. Americanus is in the same boat.

    I'm trying to fix my issue, not "tarnish" your reputation or anything. I'm actually very impressed with your changes and everything up to this CTD was great!

    Since the only change that occurs is adding your files, I assumed it had to be related to them. Don't you reference the ram and the gate in some of your files?

    Gosh.

    I have simple question:

    Which AI is better for The Long Road mod 2.0: Lusted AI or Condo AI ?

    Or maybe existing other good AI mods?

    Thanks for ansfers.

    Default Campaign map radar

    When adding these text files it makes my campaign map radar cut off from the west so basically the radar cuts out western spain and the atlantic. although I can still go to it on the campaign map. It is like it is zoomed slightly, any ideas how to fix this?

    the file I have given should not make this happen. i'll look into it.

    You can change it in the descr_script if you like. I have been making deals that cost me up to a million florins so, more just adds to the ante. Its alot more fun than negotiating 25000 here, 35000 there-more realistic-personal preference. HRE was pretty wealthy. As Sicily I have had up to 18mil florins but now I have around 14.5mil and I am supporting allies in their wars as well as covertly assisting some of their enemies that I favor. My spies and assassins are the best around and I know what factions of interest are doing. The factions you oppose will catch up to you.

    don't I have found that if:

    ;===============================================================
    ;== STARTUP
    ;===============================================================

    restrict_strat_radar false

    end_monitor <<<<<<<<<delete this>>>>>>>>>>>>> It will fix the problem.

    I think I will fix the uber knife units now by adding more time between their attk
