Mongols did not turn up in Antioch Campaign

They were announced near bagdad 5 turns ago but I have not seen them yet.
I occupy bagdad and have spys near the towns closest to the edge of the map. No Mongols

Are you sure you got the 'Mongols Invade' and not the 'Mongols Arrive' message.

There are 2 Mongol messages: one of them is to warn you about the Mongols, the other is to tell you that they are here.

If you have had both Mongol messages then try th cheat 'toggle_fow' to see if you have glitched.

about five turns later I the mongols came straight on the map and immediatly attacked bagdad. Then I got a message saying at war with mongols.
So I think it is perhaps random.

I checked with fow toggle, the mongols come with two armies, wait at the edge of the map for several turns, then five more turn up and they make thier move.....
