    Hello Andy,
Do you mean the ugly green arrow markers that appear under units when you click on them? If so, the same technique applies to Rome as to Medieval.
Go into our Medieval folder, find yor 'preferences' file and open it up, it shouldn't be too long a file. find the line that says 'disable arrow markers' or words to that effect and change 'false' to 'true'. There's also a lot of other interesting stuff you can tweak in the preferences file, including grass distance and disabling unit banners (can't do this for medieval, though).
    Good luck.

Can't remove the banners in Med, via the preferences file, anyway. I like the Med banners too, but wish they'd phase out when you zoom in, like in Rome.

i've never played rome... but i know what you mean it would look allot better.

+ whats quite annying say when you want a really good screen shot and a shoddy banner pole is sticking down the middle on your unit's head / w/e

how do you even open the preferences.cfg file...my comp just gives me the "windows doesn't know what program created this file" message, and web help is useless
