Yep the musket if a little bit unrealistic. But nobody can even see the bullet as it is too fast.

You can see the bullet if you pause the game and press shift + the speed up button. Instead of the normal speed of 1.0, 2.0 or 6.0 you can go from 0.1 till 6.0. (Matrix M2TW ftw! )

cheers for the rep mate, i love it, like i said especially Arqebusiers - dno bout spellin lol but i'd say the mortar follows are the best! shoot way up in the air and you get a really good birdseye view if your quick enough

also when you just press delete say on cavaly the screen follows smoothly, great for charge's movies / shots

lil off topic question, when does the new world event happen? / year

    Meh, nothing is entirely realistic.

They are also a bit fast loading imo, because when it was raining, medieval gunpowder didn't always work. And also it doesn't take into account the chance of a misfire, i.e. when the shooter gets spread by molten gunpowder.

cheers I've already been and owned the aztecs before when i was running SS4 - Great mod, not really my cup of tea

I'm running DarthMod1.4D - its really good. the difference in the battle moves, physics, musket fire / smoke is totally realistic compared to SS, + now you can see / hear them loading the rifles now -properly and they continuesly shoot. thats only a couple of class things i could go on and on lol,

It happened apparently quite often. The gunpowder would ignite, but not shoot out the bullet. The expanding gas had to come out somehow, so it would generally head in the direction of the gun-holder. That's why when something doesn't work, it "back-fires".

That was my cultural moment, normal service shall resume tomorrow.

Wow I didn't know you could break down the game speed.

Neither did I, but I've always been able to see them in normal speed anyway. They just look like rocks.

They fire a bit fast and reform unesscarily constantly.

To fix the latter of the problems go into

export_descr_unit folder in your m2tw directory under data

for every gun unit remove the trati

"fire_by_rank" therefore they will not reform and still fire MUCH better

Cool man... also i like to slow down the speed so i can see the stabbing and hitting of the swords, specially with the two-handed bastards of the HRE.

That's also where "hang fire" comes from, when the powder doesn't ignite at the proper time and goes off at an unexpected moment.
