Problems with CAE and SS
i just downloaded clouds over europe and stainless steel. i must say im very impressed with clouds over europe (i LOVE the teutonics). but i'm having problems with both games.
with CAE, the games plays fine, but after a while, some of the button's for the menus just turn into weird random textures and not long afterwards, the game crashes.
i havent even gotten a chance to play stainless steel because:
1. it wont fully install. it gets up to 80% and then stops because theres some "invalid data" concerning my scotland highlander textures (which i have never tampered with). i've tried installing it again, but i get the same problem.
2. the patch installs fine, but when i start the game, i select the knights templar faction, i click on start, it loads normally, but when i gets fully loaded, it suddenly crashes to my desktop, leaving me wondering what the hell is the problem and what can i do.
CAE plays fine but crashes after a while. SS wont let me play the grand campaign. any remedies?

Re: Problems with CAE and SS
i wonder if the random textures is a glitch when you play the teutonics becuase i have had it happen 2 or 3 times. as for CAE i had constant crashes untill i uninstalled it and reloaded both it and patch 1.2. i have no experience with SS, hopefully someone experienced will come along to this thread ...

Re: Problems with CAE and SS
CAE is the medieval2.exe. Make sure which disc is in the drive. SS is kingdoms.exe. Depending on how much CAE overwrites vanilla files they may not be compatible in the same Medieval2 folder.
