Problems installing Medieval II...help!
Ok, so I had Medieval II installed for some time now, but the other day I had to wipe a bunch of programs including Medieval. So I had my game patched to 1.3 because I had kingdoms.
heres my problem:
Trying to reinstall Medieval II (vanilla) it loads up the launcher, I click install, and it gives me an error message saying that I still have version 1.3 install, and that I need to remove it before proceeding.
Now I have tried many things, I have deleted the registry's with regedit for the Sega folder.
I have used revo uninstaller to get rid of all of this. I have mad sure its not in the add/remove programs list.
I have even used the windows installer remover tool to make sure its not there.
And crap cleaner to fix any potential registry entry problems.
I continue to get this same error message.
Any help??

Although you say you've cleaned it all, I still think it's somewhere in your registry. Might be a stupid question, but have you checked the \Program Files\Sega folder? Is it gone?
