Iberian Wars???

I wouldn't mind seeing this campaign, I think it should take place in Iberia!! It should include Spain, Portugal, Aargon, The Moors and any other countires in this region. This could be like the other regional campaigns. I have limited Knowledge of this region so thats why I haven't bothered to make this myself. But I would be willing to help and through in ideas

Wouldn't the faction rosters be vary similar, some variation of the Moorish roster and the Spanish Roster? I mean the GC can barely support Spain and Portugal.

The Lands To Conquer mod has a Spanish Reconquista campaign, using an enlarged map of the region. It doesn't add any new factions, so it's just Spain, Portugal and the Moors. You could use this as a basis and maybe rename Spain to Castille and add Aragon. Maybe it's also possible to add some of the features from Kingdoms, like stone forts and hero characters (e.g. El Cid).

Units would probably be rather similar, but if you use the Sicilian roster for Aragon (I don't know how historical this would be) you'll get some more variety.

You could add the minor city-states in the region, Moors, Castile, Leon, Aragon, Navarre, Portugal, etc. My Iberian history isn't that great, but you could get a lot of factions I'm sure. maybe give Rodrigo Díaz de Vivar (El Cid Campeador) his own city-state faction if it is in the time period. Most of Muslim Iberia was not controlled by the Moors in 1080, so you could add several Muslim factions too.

Yeah I heard something about how the Muslims weren't all united until some era I will have to research this out of a matter of interest, BTW is anyone interested in making this mod cause this was just an idea of mine I just through into the air. I would I just don't have the software to make unit textures all I can really do is text editing but my knowledge is limited.

I also wouldn't mind seeing a Italy/central Europe regional which would focus on the Italian Republics such as Venice and Genoa, also it could be about of the Holy Roman Empire is trying to reclaim glory by attacking these republics and possibly Denmark. Also maybe Denmark, Hunagry and Poland could be emerget factions all may fully playable. The only problem would be that this campaign would be similiar to the Britannia campaign in that it will be culture instead of religion and that Generals would leave for crusades. But the Pope would be in this campaign(and I know how you all love the pope )

I'm just trying to get all the factions into the Kingdoms special treatment.

I think it would be more fesible to make this mod start BEFORE the morish invasion, because historically the moors werent even in Iberia until about 1100, before the moors just had control over some city states there, so I think it is possible if we have it so factions aren't united, and special events to unite factions
