AI Bonuses
When I installed the game I did not reduce AI bonuses. Are these bonuses monetary and/or construction time only? Do they allow the AI to recruit units faster? Is it under founding monument in EDB?

Re: AI Bonuses
They are building cost and time bonuses plus some light financial ones...

Re: AI Bonuses
I use reduced bonuses, after realizing the AI could field three times as many units as me and still be making a surplus... But to compensate I play on a higher difficulty.
When you are fighting the AI factions, go for the throat and capture their capital immediately, this kill there bonuses, as the founding monument is there.

Re: AI Bonuses
Changed it to reduced bonuses. Could not understand how the AI was fielding lot more full stacks then me and I bumped recruitment times to 2 for most units too...

Re: AI Bonuses
Is this bonus supposed to apply to all their settlements? I noticed some German and Thracian settlements developing extremely quickly in my current campaign.

Re: AI Bonuses
Yes, the bonues are faction wide, so they apply to all settlements. The AI gets a recruitment cost bonus, which applies to recruitment time as well, so increasing the recruitment times will make things a lot harder on the player than the AI.

Re: AI Bonuses
Good thing then I always had selected Reduce AI bonuses. Currently I'm seriously pressed by three factions as Rome; Gaul, Carthage, and Independent Greeks. I almost got the Post marius reform, if I could just scrouge up enough money for an Imperial palace upgrade and outlast them until the reform hit.
