System instantly shutdowns.

Hi, After getting my computer ive been having problems with it non-stop basically. I have been trying to fix it but now im at the point that i have no idea what to do. The problem occurs every 1-3 days, the computer will randomly shut down instantly, no reboot just shutdown. When i turn the system back on it works for 5-15 minutes then same thing, instant shutdown.. The only way to fix this is to re-install the display drivers ( 158.18 Nividia 8800GTX vista 86X )then the computer works fine for 1-3 days then same thing..instant shutdown this problem is getting extremely annoying and i was wondering if anyone has any advice?

Did you buy it or build it? If you brought it just send it back to the seller.

Strange situation, random shutdowns are normally caused by overheating or faulty hardware. Unless it's prebuilt in which case return it because they will more than likly have some sort of " You open the case you void the warrenty" thing attached to it. If this is not the case open it and check for dust and make sure your fans are working.

I had thesame problem couple of weeks ago. First, random shutdows, then, strange anomalies on the monitor, then, Goodbye my beloved Graphiccard.
