Default CTD: Anyone else have this one?

03:58:06.687 [game.script] [error] Script execution error for <console_command>, at line 90, in The_Long_Road/data/world/maps/campaign/imperial_campaign/campaign_script.txt:
    remove_ancillary this leadership_anc7
    err: character not found

03:58:51.093 [system.rpt] [error] Medieval 2: Total War encountered an unspecified error and will now exit.

Finally started up a new campaign, VH/VH, best play through of TLR yet, save for this little bug that KO'd me. Can't just load the autosave for this one, as I think it's trying to remove an ancillary from a dead guy. I'm still a fan of TLR, but I probably wont bother with it until the next version, kind of a bummer to run into a game breaking bug 2-3 hours\170 turns into a campaign when things just get interesting.
    :hmmm:

I get CTDs sometimes, but don't log the reasons as you did. Never occurs to me at the time, unfortunatly.

Mostly I just write it off as coming from me messing around with command console trait cheats.

I tend to give my first two generations of family the Intelligent, Pragmatic and Sane traits and when they marry, the WifeIsWise, WifeIsCharming and WifeIsNoble traits.

I figure that the men and women founding a monarchy should be a cut above the general noise, and this seems to help hold off the idiot, insane and stupid traits for a couple generations and give me half a chance at actually having few generals worth the time and effort of managing.

Just now downloaded that txt, and wondering what exactly was changed? I haven't poured through it yet myself, in the process of doing so, anyway.

Eh, well I see what he changed now. I see what he removed to fix the random CTD's. Fix, eh, I mean remove the CTD's. He removed the ancillary script from the campaign_script, the leadership ancillaries. Haven't played through a campaign just yet to see exactly what part of/if all of the Bloods, Broads & Bastards (If that's what's being used, if not, it's similar.) has been affected.

He also changed the AI assistance script, basically what gives the other factions money when they (usually) hit negative or close to. I'm keeping his removal of the ancillaries, wont miss those, but his changes to the assistance script, and the kings purse aren't for me.

Edit: His adjustment of the script for slave money assistance is also useful.
